Credits are the virtual currency of IMVU and can be used to purchase clothing, accessories, scenes or other items from the IMVU catalog. While you receive 1000 free credits with registration, there are also ample opportunities earn more.

THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES WILL EARN YOU FREE CREDITS:

-- When you register with IMVU you start with 1000 free credits in your account.

-- When you have your 1st 3D chat you earn 50 credits. (The person that you first chat with also earns credits)

-- When you browse our new products page you earn an amount between 1 and 50 credits. This is awarded once daily.

-- When you invite a friend to use IMVU, we issue you 5 credits for every invite with a unique and valid email address. The invitation must be made using IMVU's 'Invite a Friend' service. The credits will be issued when your friend receives your invite, clicks on the link provided in the message, and visits our website.

-- When they register you earn 500 credits.

-- When they have their 1st 3D chat you earn 500 credits

-- When they have their 5th 3D chat you earn another 500 credits
